The most efficient, cost-effective and versatile heating element on the market
Globar® ceramic silicon carbide (SiC) electric heating elements are designed for high temperature (1800°F to 3000°F) thermal processing applications - for use in furnaces or kilns, as a radiant heat source.

As the most efficient, cost-effective and versatile heating element on the market, Globar elements are used in many types of industrial furnaces.

Since there are no standard sizes and shapes of the products being heated, and no standard dimensions or wattages in furnace designs, Globar elements are available in a wide variety of sizes and geometries - customized to meet your specific product, process and furnace criteria.

Advantages of Globar SiC Electric Heating Elements

  • Economical, dependable, clean, quiet and safe
  • No fuel availability or storage problems
  • No noxious fuel exhaust to be ducted away
  • Efficiently handle a wide range of products and atmospheres
  • Elements that operate at 600°F up to 3000°F
  • One of the highest hot : cold ratios in the industry

Mounting Versatility
Globar elements may be mounted horizontally or vertically inside the furnace chamber to surround the product being heated. They are terminated by replaceable straps and clamps available from Kanthal Globar which connect the element (outside the furnace wall) to the variable voltage power supply.
