| Watlow now offers a controller with an input for remote timer
start to its Series 935 family of controllers. This new addition, the
Series 935B, is a microprocessor-based, 1/32 DIN panel-mounted temperature controller and
timer offering a separate input to initiate timer start from a remote switch. This feature
provides the flexibility needed to handle many applications that require temperature
control with a countdown timer.
Controllers in the Series 935 product family offer a single temperature sensor input
from a thermocouple or RTD sensor and dual control outputs. The outputs may operate in a
variety of modes including heat, cool, alarm and timer. The timer operates in a choice of
delay-ON, delay-OFF, signal-ON, or signal-OFF modes.
OEMs now using analog or non-electronic controls will find the Series 935 a
cost-effective alternative giving them greatly improved accuracy and durability. Despite
its small size, the 935 has three large soft-touch buttons for ease of operation.
Designed to work in the harshest environments, the 935 meets tough standards for
reliability, durability and performance. Its small size, along with a count down timer,
remote set point input, universal power supply and CE approval provide the flexibility to
